Ever feel super overwhelmed because your “to do” list is never going to end? Or because you’re facing this huge obstacle and you are not sure how you will get through it?

I know I’ve felt that way. And it’s not fun.

A question I like to ask when I’m feeling overwhelmed or have a lot going on is “how do you eat an elephant?”

Someone once asked me this question, and the answer has stuck with me ever since then. So seriously, how do you eat an elephant?

ONE BITE AT A TIME!

When you are faced with a million different things at work or at home and you don’t feel you can do it, simply stop and take a breather. Then move forward one step at a time, one bite at a time. So, the next time you are feeling overwhelmed at the pile of laundry, the never ending tasks at work or the hundreds of emails, remember, one step at a time. Give yourself a little pep talk and keep moving forward.
